Metropolitan University, Sylhet has taken the following steps to observe the Independence Day and National Day 2016 according to the following schedule: Saturday, 26th March 2016:

1. Early hours at 12:01am: Placing of floral wreath at Kendriya Shaheed Minar, Sylhet.
2. Morning at 6:01am: National Flag will be hoisted at Metropolitan University Campus.
3. At 10:00 am: Discussion Meeting on the significance of the day.
4. ?At 11:00am to 2:00pm: Cultural Programme.

24th to 26th March 2016: A book fair will be arranged in the campus near Rabindra-Nazrul stage. The fair will remain open? from 10am to 5pm. The students, members of the faculty, officers and employees are requested to remain present to make the events successful.
