Md. Masud Rana has obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA degree) in Accounting & Information Systems from Dhaka University in 2003 and his Masters of Business Administration (MBA degree) in Accounting & Information Systems from the same university in 2004. He has been working since January 16, 2008 till date in the Department of Business Administration under the School of Business and Economics in Metropolitan University. Prior to joining Metropolitan University, he worked as an officer in Banking Sector (Eastern bank Ltd.) and later on worked as Lecturer in the Bangladesh Institute of Science and Technology (BIST). He also served as an MBA Coordinator of the Department of Business Administration of Metropolitan University for a long time. Now he is working as an Associate Professor, Department of Business Administration, Metropolitan University. He was also the former head of the department. He is also continuing research (Ph.D Fellowship) under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Shahidul Hoque, Department of Business Administration, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet. He worked as consultant with different national institutions in the sector of Finance, Accounts and Tax. He is an active member of different cultural organizations including Leadership Development Forum, Human Rights, and Social Service. Besides professional interests, he travels widely, reads, and writes. He wrote a book on Income Taxes of Bangladesh. He has numerous published articles, publications. He also participated in many national conferences.
