Md. Imam Mahdi
Md. Imam Mahdi is a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Metropolitan University, Sylhet, Bangladesh, where he has been serving since 2025. He obtained his B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) from The University of Burdwan, India, in 2022. He subsequently completed his M.Tech degree with a specialization in “Next Generation Communication and Networks” from the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur (NIT Dgp), India, in 2024. He was awarded a fully funded scholarship by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) for both his undergraduate and postgraduate studies. His research interests include satellite communication, wireless communication, IoT, digital twin technologies, machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence. He is actively engaged in academic research and serves as a peer reviewer for two international journals. He has published research articles in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. His teaching responsibilities include Microprocessor & Interfacing, Digital Logic Design, Technical Writing, Basic Electronics, and other core electrical and electronic engineering courses.
