Metropolitan University, the leading private University in Sylhet, has completed 18 years in the journey of Educational excellence. Today was Monday (May 3), the university's 18th founding anniversary. Due to the Corona crisis, the founding anniversary celebrations were not as grandiloquent as last year. The university's public relations department said on Monday, The Chairman Board of Trustees Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury greeted the teachers, students, officers, employees and well-wishers . In his congratulatory message, he said, "We started our journey with the dream of playing a positive role in the education system of Sylhet. From the beginning, our goal and objective was to work for the improvement of the quality of education. We have remained steadfast for that goal for a decade and a half. Over time, the Metropolitan University in greater Sylhet is now one of the most confidant and trusted names of our students. The Metropolitan University was established on May 3, 2003 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. Under the leadership of founder and chairman of the Board of Trustees? Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury, the university is moving forward with the dedicated efforts of a group of educationists.
