On 8th Dec, 2014 The School of Law & Justice has arranged a magnificent farewell & reception party in University to celebrate some special moment with leaving LL.B 16th, 17th batch and novice LL.B 28th batch. Entire campus is amazingly decorated for the programme and it implies that the beautiful atmosphere of University was in a festive mood. Programme is started at 11am in Professor Habibur Rahman Library Hall in presence of Honorable chief guest Vice Chancellor of University Md. Saleh Uddin PhD. Besides there are two other special guest is remained present in the pragramme respectively the dean of School of Law & Justice Barrister M Arosh Ali and General Secretary BAR Association of Sylhet Mr. Ashok Purokaystho. Moreover the programme is presided by head of the department of Law & Justice Md Sheikh Ashrafur Rahman. As well as Director Tarek Islam(Administration),Deputy Registrar Lukman Ahmed Chowdhury (Public Add) and all of the teachers from the school of Law & Justice remain present in the event. At the beginning students of LL.B 16th, 17th & 28th batch delivers a very fascinating opening speech. Moreover a cultural progrmme is arranged to celebrate the day. Some of the members from University Band (Flames) perform on the stage plus a ramp is performed by some of the students Shimul(20th), Promi(20th), Jahan(21st), Tanvir(23rd), Nabila(23rd), Farhan(24th), Topu(26th), Farjana(26th), Jafri(26th), Ema(27th). Beside Manna(21st), Neel(17th) performed both single & couple dance. It may mention that soon Manna is going to perform on the stage of Indo-Bangla Dance Competition. At the end of the programme most marvelous moment created when the head of the department Mr. Sheikh Ashrafur Rahman sings a song for students. Entire programme is brilliantly hosted by two elegant student of the school, Shah Murshed Ali & Shahin.
