?We have to read book to know the real history of our brilliant liberation war. The habit of reading books is not only change ownself but also society?. Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Saleh Uddin said those valuable words in 23^rd March in the inaugural book fair program that was took place for three days long at Rabindra-Nazrul stage in Metropolitan University. Special guest and convener of book fair committee Prof. Dr. Suresh Ranjan Basak ; Dean, School of Humanities and Social Sciences said that ?the people who did not see our liberation war,? they have to know the exact history of our sparkling liberation war by reading books. There is no alternative way to establish the spirit of liberation war without searching the accurate history of our dazzling liberation war. Welcome speech was given by one of the members of arranging committee and Senior Lecturer of Department of Law and Justice, Gazi Saiful Hasan. , Professor Dr. Taher Billal Khalifa; Dean, Business Administration, Dean in charge of Science and Technology Professor Chowdhury Mohammad Mukammal Wahid, Registrar? Professor Khandaker Mahmudur Rahman, Treasurer Professor Shib Prashad Sen, Exam Controller and Proctor Professor Nandalal Sharma, Executive Tarek Islam, Deputy Registrar Muhammad FR Tanvir, Hamidur Rahman, Enamul Haque, Rama Islam Head in charge of Department of English, Shekh Ashrafur Rahman; Head in charge of Law and Justice, Miah Md. The other activities of Independence Day were Inter- Debate competition organized by LDF, Gaming and Programming Contest, Documentary Films and Photo Exhibitions about Liberation war etc.
