Department of Business Administration organised a three-day long workshop on QuickBooks accounting software which is widely recognised across the globe especially by accountants and other professionals alike. The Workshop was conducted by Mr. Monzur Chowdhury as resource person, Chairman, Center for Human Development BD Inc., USA. The concluding program and certificate giving ceremony was held at 3.00 pm on Thursday, 19 January 2023 in Professor M. Habibur Rahman Hall. In the concluding session Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury, Chairman, Board of Trustees graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Mr. Tanwir M. O. Rahman Chowdhury, Vice Chairman, Board of Trustees was present as Special Guest while Professor Dr. Mohammad Jahirul Hoque Vice Chancellor, Metropolitan University presided over of the session. Chairman of the Board of Trustees, economist and educationist Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury said, ?Metropolitan University is working to fulfill the dreams of students and their parents. Taking degrees from here graduates are being established internationally. Apart from giant tech companies like Google or Amazon, the students of the University are working in various private and government sectors. Being the founder of the University, it is my immense pleasure to see the success of our students.? Dean of the School of Business & Economics, Professor Dr. Md. Taher Billal Khalifa and Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Business Administration, Mr. Md. Masud Rana also spoke on the occasion. Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Dr. Mohammad Jahirul Hoque said, ?We want our graduates to be real human resources. Therefore, various types of training are being organised for the development of their skill.? Two crests were handed over to the Honorable keynote speaker, Mr. Monzur Chowdhury on behalf of Metropolitan University and Department of Business Administration. Among others who attended the programme included Dean of School of Science & Technology, Professor Dr. Md. Nazrul Haque Chowdhury; Associate Professor and Dean in-charge School of Law, Mr. Sheikh Ashrafur Rahaman, Advisor (Student Welfare), Professor Choudhury M.
