Recently the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering has developed a Drone which will fly in the sky to send live weather information to ground station. This drone is capable to collect and send information of Air quality, humidity, temperature, UV index, air pressure and some other weather related data. Moreover this special drone also can measure nuclear radiation in the air using Geiger?Muller counter. As well as there is a dropping mechanism is attached with the drone so that it can carry variety of things and throw it in proper place. The supervisor of the project is Syed Razwanul Haque Nabil(Lecturer, Dept. of EEE) and the team leader Akhlak-Uzzaman Ashik. Jibon Chandra Das, Abdur Rahman Chowdhury, Rumon Hussain, Mithun Dhor and Habibur Rahman also work on the project.
