Three-day long 'Digital Innovation Fair 2015' jointly organised by Sylhet District Administration and the Access to Information Programme, Prime Minister's Office, Dhaka was ended at the Sylhet District Stadium gymnasium hall on March 21, 2015. Metropolitan University Team was ranked second on the closing day at "Students Innovation Camp 2015" competition. Head of the department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology Dr. Muhammad Zafar Iqbal attended the closing and prize giving ceremony as chief guest while Sylhet District Commissioner Mr. Shahidul Islam presided the programme. The team of Metropolitan University is led by the lecturer of CSE department Partha Sarathi Kar. Nawaz Ahmed Chowdhury a 4th year student from the department of CSE proposed an e-service website and mobile app named "E-Pension" on the National Portal Info Window at the competition. Government pension receivers and pension recipients will get a completely hassle free modern service by this website and app which is all new in our country. The other members of the Metropolitan University Team are- Kausar Ahmad and Muhammad Asif. That was a significant achievement by M U students.
