  District Gathering of ?Messenger of Peace? organised by Bangladesh Scouts, Sylhet District Rover was held on 9th February, 2018 in Metropolitan University. President of the Metropolitan University Rover Scout Committee, Professor Nandalal Sharma inaugurated the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Secretary of Sylhet District Rover, Md. Moboshir Ali; Commissioner, Johir Uddin Amin; Treasurer, Mostafa Shahjaman Chowdhury; Regional Director of Bangladesh Scout (Sylhet Region), Unchen Marma; Leader of the Metropolitan University Rover Scout, Nawshad Ahmed Chowdhury, and Secretary of Moulvibazar District Rover, Rezaul Karim attended the ceremony. Two instructors from the National Headquarters of Bangladesh Scouts discussed the importance of the Messenger of Peace through a few sessions throughout the day. At the end of the day, every trainee was awarded a certificate. In the concluding session, the speakers expressed gratitude to the University authority for allowing the campus to be used for organizing the district event of Rover Scout.
