A young student of Metropolitan University Sylhet has made a sophisticated server synchronized electronic voting machines (EVM). EVM was used in electoral campaigns last year, but this one has come out with more effective and modern features then the last one. On Monday morning Honorable Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith came in Metropolitan University to enjoy the spectacle of EVM with some other renowned person of our country. Former Secretary and sibling of Finance Minister Dr. Md. Abdul Mubin also attend the programme. Besides The Vice Chancellor of Metropolitan University Professor Dr. Saleh Uddin, The Chairman of Board of Trustees Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury and Deputy Commissioner Md. Shohidul Islam enjoy the demonstration. Prasanta Bhattacharjee the student from the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering worked in the project under the supervision of Mr. Syed Rezwanul Haque Nabil (Lecturer, Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering). Syed Rezwanul Haque Nabil triggered country wide by making drone while he was the student of Shahjalal University of Science & Technology. Now he is busy in making another drone. On Monday morning he came out before Honorable Minister with his another tremendous drone. Some other extraordinary students of Metropolitan University are also working with him in this Drone project. The demonstration was held on Monday morning in Professor Habibur Rahman Library Hall. At the end of the programme Finance Minister was really happy and contented by seeing the initiative of students.
