The Hult Prize Contest was held at the Metropolitan University on 20th March 2022. 13 teams participated in the competition while the idea of the team 'Phoenix' won first place. It was a connecting platform between service providers and customers titled 'Evercare'. Phoenix was formed by 3 students of the University GM Sifat Iqbal (EEE Department), Abir Rahman and Ravina Begum (Department of Business Administration). 'Zen-86' A business idea of providing economical computers and accessories to the University students was the second runner-up in the contest. It was presented by Mahfuz, Bijoy and Aditya, students from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. The RST Marketing Project presented by the students of the Department of Business Administration was the second runner-up in the contest. It was a Mushroom Cultivation Training, Production and Marketing Idea.

Professor Dr Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Professor Dr. Munshi Naser Ibne Afzal and Professor Dr Mohammad Sadiqunnabi Chowdhury from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology were the Judges of the contest. The judges admired the contestants and evaluated the projects. They also provided essential directions to the participants. Professor Dr. Taher Billal Khalifa, Dean of the School of Business & Economics and Director of IQAC, Metropolitan University ?was also present in the opening ceremony of the competition while Advisor (Student Welfare) Professor Choudhury M. Mukammel Wahid attended the Prize Giving Ceremony at the concluding session.

The top three teams will compete in the Hult Prize regional contest and it will be held outside Bangladesh. However, the place and time of the regional contest have not been announced yet
