The sixth season of the? League Metropolitan (League M) organized by MU Sports Club was successfully ended on Monday, 5th December 2022. The CSE Shooter Team (47th batch) won the season 6 championship trophy, defeating the Team CSE Ferocious (55th?66th batch) in a tiebreaker by a 3-4 goal. The final was held on the permanent campus of the University. Ten teams from different departments of the university participated in League M. Riyad Chowdhury was awarded as the best player in the tournament, and Mahdi Ahmed was the best goalkeeper. The prize giving ceremony was held at the end of the final match. The Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Dr. Mohammad Jahirul Hoque attended the ceremony as Chief Guest. The programme was presided over by the President of MU Sports Club Mr. Mohiuddin. Besides, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees Mr. Tanwir MO Rahman Chowdhury, Registrar and Advisor of Sports Club Mr. Tarek Islam, Dean of the School of Business & Economics Professor Dr. Taher Billal Khalifa, Advisor (Student Welfare) Professor Choudhury M. Mukammel Wahid, Proctor and Head of the Department of Economics Professor Dr. Mohammad Jamal Uddin, Head of the Department of CSE Associate Professor Md. Mahfujul Hasan also attended the programme as special guest.
