The programme titled 'Letters to the Immortals' was held in Metropolitan University, organised by MU Literary Club of English, which is an organisation of the Department of English. The programme was held on Wednesday, 1st December at Professor M Habibur Rahman Library Hall. Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Dr. Md. Saleh Uddin was present in the programme as Chief Guest. The Treasurer of the University and Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences Professor Dr. Suresh Ranjan Basak attended the programme as Special Guest. During the programme, students recited poems, and read letters written to their favourite authors and favourite characters and expressed their feelings. The teachers and students of the department were present on the occasion. The programme was supervised by Maliha Akter, Senior Vice President, MU Literary Club of English and anchored by Farzana Munni, a student of the Department and Publicity Secretary of the Club.
