Metropolitan University has arranged a workshop on ?Applied Statistics and Econometrics?
  ?Not only allotting, but also originating knowledge is effort of universities. This knowledge originating is done by research. It is not possible lacking knowledge on precise research method. Therefore Metropolitan University has arranged regular training for teachers on research method? Says Honorable Vice Chancellor of Metropolitan University Professor Dr. Md. Saleh Uddin while presiding the awarding ceremony. He also optimizes this workshop will play supportive role in research and this sort of program will be regularly arranged at University. It may mention that Metropolitan University has arranged three days long workshop on ?Applied Statistics and Econometrics? for the teachers of Business Administration and Economics department. The Assistant Professor of Business Administration of Asha University as well as M.BA coordinator Dr. Wahidul Habib was the trainer and host of that seminar. Participants were given knowledge on widely used statistical data analysis software SPSS, Eviews and STATA in that workshop. There are 24 teachers from Business Administration and Economics Department attends this seminar. Teachers are awarded after successfully completing this workshop.
