Metropolitan University has initiated 17 rover scouts on 18th March 2017. All of them have successfully completed their yearlong rover scout syllabus. The Chairman Board of Trustees Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury was present as the chief guest in the programme. This is the fourth batch of Metropolitan University Rover Scout Group. Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Dr. Saleh Uddin chaired the programme. The Vice Chancellor says,? Rover Scout helps people grow as human beings. Due to the seismic area, role of scouts is vital in Sylhet.? He also says,?Among the private Universities in the Sylhet, only Metropolitan University has its own Rover Scout. Metropolitan University Rover Scout group has already responded with their own their prosperous activities.? It may mention that in the 11th National Rover Moot 2017, Metropolitan University Rover Scout Group has achieved first position in 4 challenges and third in 2 challenges.
