A seminar on ?Research & Curricular Activities of CSE Students in Bangladesh? was held at Metropolitan University Sylhet on 19th January 2023 organised by the Department of CSE. The Seminar took place at 11 am in Professor M. Habibur Rahman Hall. Eminent educationist, distinguished Professor of BRAC University, and former Professor of Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology, Professor Dr. M. Kaykobad attended the seminar as the keynote speaker. During the speech he said, ?Students from the Department of CSE, Metropolitan University are working in reputed international companies in the world. It is motivating the current students of the department. The University has turned into a pioneer institution with its consistent success. I draw the attention of all concerned to maintain the steadiness.? Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Dr. Mohammad Jahirul Hoque presided over the seminar. Advisor (Student Welfare) and Professor of the Dept. of CSE, Choudhury M. Mukammel Wahid, and Associate Professor and Head of the Department of CSE delivered Welcome and Concluding speeches respectively. Speakers in the seminar emphasised on the students? involvement in research, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Deans of Schools, Registrar of the University, Heads of other departments, teachers and students were present in the seminar.
