Access to Information (a2i) Programme and four private universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Conference Room of PMO on August 1, 2017 to simplify the Information and technology, service system and innovation for providing services at the doorstep of people. Kabir Bin Anwar, Director General (Administration) of Prime Minister?s Office, and project director of a2i Programme was chaired the programme.
Prof. Dr. Md. Saleh Uddin, Vice Chancellor, Metropolitan University, Sylhet; Professor M. M. Shahidul Hassan, Vice Chancellor, East West University; Prof. Dr. Jamilur Reza Choudhury, Vice Chancellor, University of Asia Pacific; Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Pro-Vice Chancellor, American International University-Bangladesh and Kabir Bin Anwar, Project Director of a2i, signed the Memorandum of Understanding from their respective organizations.
a2i and 4 private universities will jointly implement the research, training and evaluation programs and strategies; which will help the govt. departments to work jointly for functional use and expansion of knowledge of the university, creating innovative project ideas for solving social problems, which will play a vital role in bringing positive change in the service sector of the country. This agreement will also serve as catalyst and helpful for creating skilled human resources by increasing the capability of the information and communication technology of various departments and institutes of the university.
