To cherish the history and heritage, interest in games has to be raised in School, College and University level. Students particularly need to participate in various games. It helps in physical and psychological development of a student.? Says, the Vice Chancellor of Metropolitan University Dr. Md. Saleh Uddin while attending the prize giving ceremony of ?Mojo Intra-Uni Football Tournament? organised by Metropolitan University Sports Club. As a chief guest Shofiul Alam Nadel (Director, Bangladesh Cricket Board) and S.M Shahjahan (Regional Manager, AFBL) also delivered a precious speech. As well as Professor Dr. Taher Billal Khalifa (Dean, School of Business), Chowdhury Md. Mukammel Wahid (Head, Department of CSE), Md. Jamal Uddin (Head, Dept. of Business Administration), Adv. Lukman Ahmed Chowdhury (Adviser of MU Sports Club), Md. Rayhan Jaman(President, MU Sports Club), Nadim Farhan Chowdhury (General Secretary, MU Sports Club), Thofick Raja (Former General Secretary, MU Sports Club) attends the ceremony. Mojo Intra University Football Tournament was started with tough 20 football team of Metropolitan University on 22nd November 2015. The duty of match Referee & field Referee is maintained by Mr. Tarek Islam (Director, Administration) & Saidur Rahman Polash. After completing the group matches top 8 teams were qualified for quarter final. Today on the last day of tournament, three matches are played including two semifinals and the final match. In the first semifinal match BBA29 Batch beats LLB29 by 2-0 goal and the next match BBA 33th batch beats CSE 29th batch by 1-0 goal. In the final match of tournament BBA33 batch beats BBA29 batch by 2-1 goal. Champion & the Runner Up Team received two Prize Bond having amount of TK20,000 & TK10,000 from Mojo and the trophies.
