A grand event titled ‘Motor Fest’ was successfully held at Metropolitan University, one of the country’s top private higher education institutions. This was the first time such an event took place at any university in Bangladesh. The fest, held on Thursday (April 10) at the vast grounds of Metropolitan University’s permanent campus, generated an overwhelming response. The event was organized by the university's students, with support from the university authorities.
The Motor Fest featured a variety of vehicles, including many
vintage cars as well as modern ones. A car once owned by the late film actor
Salman Shah was also showcased at the event. In total, 148 different types of
vehicles were exhibited. Visitors to the Motor Fest were fascinated by this
unique and diverse event.
Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury,
Chairman of Metropolitan University, visited the Motor Fest. In addition, the
university’s Pro-Vice Chancellor, Treasurer, Deans of various faculties, Heads
of Departments, faculty members, and administrative officials also enjoyed the
fest.
