MoU Signed Between Metropolitan University and University of Portsmouth

The University of Portsmouth, a renowned institution in the UK, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Metropolitan University on Thursday, 25th?August 2022. The MoU was signed between the two universities virtually. From now on, both universities will work more closely in the field of education.

Registrar of Metropolitan University Professor Dr. Md. Nazrul Haque Chowdhury and Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Global Engagement and Student Life) of the University of Portsmouth Chris Chang signed the MoU on behalf of their Universities.

Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Shiba Prasad Sen; Treasurer & Dean of the School of Humanities & Social Sciences, Professor Dr. Suresh Ranjan Basak; Director (Administration), Mr. Tarek Islam; Controller of Exam, Mr. Khondakar Moksud Ahmed also attended the programme on behalf of Metropolitan University. In addition, Mr. Joe Hall, Global Engagement Officer, University of Portsmouth, Mr. Amran Mofiz, Regional Advisor and Mr. Md Nuruzzaman, Assistant Regional Advisor University of Portsmouth also attended the programme.

The Chairman Board of Trustees Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury said, ?As a result of this Memorandum of Understanding, a new door of opportunities has been opened for the students of Sylhet in higher education.?
