A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Metropolitan University and SJ Innovation, a New York based Software Company on 24^th?February 2019. The Registrar of the University Mr. Muhammad FR Tanvir and the CEO of SJ Innovation, Mr. Shahed Islam signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organization. They also agreed to increase corporate collaboration under social responsibility. According to the Memorandum, four graduate students of CSE Department of Metropolitan University will get the opportunity to do internship at the Sylhet office of SJ Innovation Bangladesh Limited. Besides, under the social outreach program of SJ Innovation Bangladesh Limited, their skilled developers and engineers will train the University students. Mr. Shahed Islam appreciated the performance of seven graduates of Metropolitan University working at SJ Innovation Bangladesh Limited. He expressed interest in appointing graduates of Metropolitan University in future. The Registrar of the University Mr. Muhammad FR Tanvir thanked?SJ Innovation?for their cooperation and expressed hope that communication and relations between the two organizations will increase further. The Dean of the School of Science & Technology Professor Dr. Md. Nazrul Haque Chowdhury; Additional Director of IQAC, Professor Choudhury M Mukammel Wahid; Head of the Dept. of CSE, Mr. Fuad Ahmed; other officials of SJ Innovation Bangladesh Limited and teachers and students of CSE Department of Metropolitan University were present.
