NASA Space App Challenge 2019 Champion
A team of Metropolitan University has become the Champion in NASA Space App Challenge in Bangladesh Round ?To The Star? Category.
The selection phase was organised in collaboration with the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) in the initiative of NASA. It has more than four thousand competitors participating in 9 cities in the country and only 45 teams were selected from it for the final round.
The final competition was held on Saturday and Sunday at the Institution of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh (IDB) with those 45 top teams. A Team from Metropolitan University has become the Champion in one of the five categories, namely the "To The Star" category.
The Team was formed with 5 students of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. They are Shafayet Ahmed Hridoy, Imtianul Haque Dimik, Nusrat Jahan Shanta, Shahadin Mahmud, Md Rajib Miah.
Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury and Vice Chancellor, Professor Md. Saleh Uddin PhD Uddin congratulated them on their achievement.
