The Mobile Photo Contest was held in Metropolitan University on the occasion of World Photography Day 2019 organised by Metropolitan University Photographic Society (MUPS). Prize Giving Ceremony of Photo Contest was held on 26^th August 2019. The Pro Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Shiba Prasad Sen was the chief guest of the ceremony. Besides, The Dean of the School of Law Professor Dr. Rabiul Hossain, the Dean of? the School of Humanities & Social Sciences Professor Dr. Suresh Ranjan Basak was the special guest. As well as Head of the Department of English, Assistant Professor Mr. Anik Biswas; Head of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering Dr. ASM Iftekhar Uddin; Assistant Professor Department of Business Administration, Md. Emran Uddin; Assistant Professor Department of CSE & President of MUPS, Md. Rashedul Islam; Senior Lecturer, Akhlak Uz Zaman Ashik also attended the prize giving ceremony. Organizers of the contest said that hundreds of photos were submitted in the contests by the students. The pictures were uploaded to Facebook. There were 15 pictures selected based on the opinions of the students and the judges. Judges selected the top 3 Photos submitted by Fariha Mahzabin (English 35^th Batch), Junel Ahmed (Economics 5^th Batch) and Mehnaz Sultana Juthi (CSE 47^th Batch). Best Photographers were awarded in the ceremony. Besides, certificates were given to 12 participants.
