Seminar on Robotics organised by MU Robotics Club



The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) of Metropolitan University, in collaboration with the MU Robotics Club, organized a special seminar on robotics on Wednesday, January 22. The event took place at the Professor M. Habibur Rahman Library Hall of Metropolitan University.

The seminar, themed "Why is Robotics Easy and How to Learn Anything Fast?", featured Abdur Rahman Chowdhury, founder and CEO of Roboflight, a Canadian robotics and drone training company, as the keynote speaker. A distinguished alumnus of the EEE Department at Metropolitan University, he shared his inspiring success story and valuable insights into robotics and drone technology.

The seminar was graced by the presence of Assistant Professor Nawshad Ahmed Chowdhury, Head of the EEE Department, along with Assistant Professor Md. Rahmat Ullah and other faculty members

Nawshad Ahmed Chowdhury delivered a warm welcome address, expressing his gratitude to the keynote speaker and presenting him with an honorary crest. The seminar was skillfully moderated by Abdullah Abu Sayad, a student from the EEE Department.

In his address, Nawshad Ahmed Chowdhury commended the efforts of the Robotics Club and the EEE Department students for organizing the event. He emphasized that such seminars play a pivotal role in nurturing the innovative spirit among students and promoting technological knowledge and skills.

The seminar attracted students from various departments across the university, who actively participated in a lively question-and-answer session. They gained valuable insights from the speaker’s expertise and practical experiences.
