Special Seminar held at Metropolitan University
A special seminar on 'Method of Instructions: How to Impart Effective Lessons' was held at Metropolitan University at?3 pm?on Monday, the 15th?April 2018 in Professor Habibur Rahman Library Hall. The teachers of the University participated at the seminar.
The seminar was presided over by the Chairman, Board of Trustees Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury. The former?ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh?and?Advisor to the Hon?ble Chairman, Board of Trustees, Major General (Retd.)?Mohammad Ashab Uddin, ndc, psc was the Chief Guest.
Major General (Retd.) Mohammad Ashab Uddin said in his speech, ?The honor of a teacher is very high and he has to keep it high. Teachers must be prepared beforehand about taking an effective class. In the class, the teacher and student will understand each other else there will be a distance between them.?
He added, ?Teachers have to be positive in the class and he must take preparations before taking any class. Going to class without preparation means to insult oneself as a teacher. They have to be punctual and confident.?
The seminar was anchored by the Registrar of the University Muhammad FR Tanvir. Professor Dr. Md. Jahirul Islam, Dr. Mazharul Hasan Mazumder, Professor Dr. Md. Taher Billal Khalifa, Professor Choudhury M. Mukammel Wahid, Mohammad Abbas Uddin, Manager NRBC Bank (Sylhet Branch), Ibne Ali Muhammad Nazmul Kibria also attended the seminar.
