Team Omega has become the first Runner-up in Robo Carnival 2019
Bangladesh University of Engineering Technology (BUET) Robotics Society arranged a competition ?Robo Carnival 2019? to help robotics enthusiasts test out their skills in different fields of robotics. Team Omega, a team from Metropolitan University formed by Md Anwarul Kawchar, Mohammad Jakaria and Niloy Rashid participated in the competition?s Pathfinder segment which is?a line-follower robot race for novice enthusiasts of robotics. The Team Omega has secured the place of first runner up in the competition.
30 Universities from all over Bangladesh took part in ?Robo Carnival 2019?.
Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak, the State Minister (ICT Division) handed over the prizes to the Champion and Runners-Up.
The Chairman Board of Trustees, Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury and the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Dr. Saleh Uddin congratulated Team Omega for their achievements.
