Team 'Phoenix' at the Hult Prize Regional Summit

The Phoenix team from Metropolitan University has taken part in the Hult Prize Regional Summit, known as the 'Nobel Prize for Students'. The team will take part in the Regional Summit to be held in Islamabad, Pakistan. However, in view of the current situation, this time the summit will be held online.

The members of the Phoenix team are GM Sifat Iqbal and Abir Rahman from the Department of EEE and Ravina Begum from the Department of Business Administration.

The 'Hult Prize' is the largest business enterprise competition in the world. UN and the Hult International Business School is the organizer of the competition. Renowned newspaper, 'The Huffington Post' has named the competition as the 'Nobel Prize for Students'.

This competition is held in four parts. The winners of the final round were awarded 1 million USD. The theme of this year's Hult Prize is 'SDG-8' or 'achieving full and productive employment for all and sustainable and inclusive economic growth'. Team Phoenix won the Campus Round (first round) by defeating twelve teams. The business proposal of this team was ?Evercare?, a platform that connects service providers and service recipients.
