The 10th Death Anniversary of Professor Habibur Rahman, former Vice Chancellor of Metropolitan University, Sylhet is observed on Wednesday, 27th July 2016 in Professor Habibur Rahman Library Hall. A discussion is held on the life of Prof. Habibur Rahman under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Saleh Uddin, the Honourable Vice Chancellor of Metropolitan University. Professor Dr. Md Saleh Uddin says ?Professor M Habibur Rahman had a great contribution in developing our society. He was an admirable scientist, teacher, writer and researcher. He worked for the society and in the favor of truth till his death. Our new generation should be introduced with his ideology.? Mr. Enamul Habib, Chief Executive Officer of Sylhet City Corporation and eldest son of Professor M Habibur Rahman attends the programme as Distinguished Guest. The discussion is followed by a Monajat. Officials, students and teachers from all departments attend the programme.
