Convocation will be presided over by Honourable Education Minister, Mr. Nurul Islam Nahid MP on behalf of the Honourable President of the People?s Republic of Bangladesh and Chancellor of the University Md. Abdul Hamid. Former Professor of the Department of English, University of Dhaka, distinguished academician and Ekushey Padak winner Professor Syed Manzoorul Islam Ph D will remain present in the convocation as Convocation Speaker. The Programme of the convocation will begin in the morning with a rally. Later on, it will be followed by national anthem, recitation from holy books and profound homage to the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The Welcome speech will be delivered by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Md. Saleh Uddin Ph D. Professor Abdul Mannan, Chairman of the University Grant Commission of Bangladesh and Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury, Chairman of the Board of Trustees will deliver speeches as special guests. Graduates will be awarded with certificates and chancellor gold medals. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees said, ?The students are very much excited for the upcoming convocation.
