The fifth Inter University Badminton Tournament titled??East-West University Winter Smash-2020? was held in?East West University campus in the capital. The tournament? started on 26^th?February 2020. Metropolitan University participated in the tournament along with? other 40 Universities of the country and became Champion and Runners Up respectively in Boys Double and Girls Single category. Rafiul Lace Raeid and Hamidur Rahman Lukman have brought the Championship trophy for the University.? Rudela Dula, has played in Girls Single Category and became the Runners Up in the Tournament. The Champion and Runners Up have received BDT15000 and BDT10000 as Prize Money respectively. The Chairman Board of Trustees Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury and Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Dr. Md. Saleh Uddin congratulated them on their achievement.
