The Teachers and the students from the department of English have arranged their second monthly open talk on ?Work in Progress/ Open Talk Series 2014? on Saturday 28^th June at Prof. Habibur Rahman Library Hall. In the seminar Lecturer of English Department Anupam Kamal Sen delivers a speech on Shahidul Jahir?s first novel ?Jibon O Rajnoithik Bastobota?.? He explains this novel by trauma principle as well discusses how war effects on human and on numerous outcome of literature. Should clarify, this novel is written on Liberation War of 1971 and in 2005 this was awarded by ?Kagoj Shahittho?.? Lecturer Anupam Kamal Sen points out in his speech how trauma theory is deeply engaged with war, history & individuals. In the last part of program Anupam Kamal Sen answers some questions of audience. Later on Prof. Dr. Suresh Ranjan Basak dean of the Department of Humanity & Social Science shares some valuable complements on this topic with audience. Students from various departments attend this seminar.
