Dr. Mohammad Jamal Uddin is a teaching professional having an expertise on Business Management, HRM, Econometrics and Research Methodology has been currently working as a Professor of the Department of Business Administration, Metropolitan University, Sylhet. Previously, he worked as a Principal at Kaimunnessa College, Narayanganj and Centre for Technology Transfer (CTT), Gazipur. He has been in teaching profession over the last 14 years in different educational organizations as Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Principal, Program Co-coordinator, Head-In-Charge and Head of the Department. Besides these positions he is also the member of Academic Council, Finance Committee, Proctorial Committee, Research Cell Coordinator, and so on.
He completed the Doctor of Philosophy Degree (PhD.) on “Nature of Work-Family Conflict of Employees in Bangladesh and Its Management” from Islamic University, Kushtia, Bangladesh. He did his Graduation (BBA) and Post graduation (MBA) from the same university. Mohammad Jamal Uddin was 1st class 1st and faculty first in both BBA and MBA Programme. He was awarded Prime Minister Gold Medal for the brilliant result in BBA and Chancellor Gold Medal for MBA result. Earlier he passed his HSC & SSC from Dhaka Board with outstanding results.
His educational background in Business Management & HRM has given him a wide foundation to approach many relevant topics. His research areas are Work-Family Conflict, Business Management, Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Small & Medium Enterprises, Higher Education and recent trends in banking Organization. He contributed many regular peer-reviewed research articles and conference papers locally and abroad on contemporary business issues. Mohammad Jamal Uddin has participated many national trainings and workshops on Research Methods, Research Methodology, Econometrics, Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) and Structural Equation Modelling through AMOS.
He is also a reviewer of many national and international journals.
