Biography

Md. Shadman Shakib, Lecturer, Department of EEE was born in Rangpur. He completed his BSc. in EEE from Noakhali Science and Technology University, Noakhali, in 2023 and enrolled in the MSc. in EEE in Noakhali Science and Technology University, Noakhali. He has completed his HSC from BAF Shaheen College, Chattogram and SSC from the Sitakunda Govt. Model High School, Chattogram.

He joined the Department of EEE at Metropolitan University in February, 2023. Before that He was Lecturer in the Department of EEE at RTM AL Kabir Technical University for 7 months. His commitment extends to addressing societal challenges, earning a Silver Award for the project "Amphibious plastic waste collector with AI image recognition and plastic sensing technique." Proficient in Python, Latex, C, and engineering software, He expertise spans AutoCAD Electrical, MATLAB, and PSpice, with notable projects in machine learning, including hand gesture presentation control and smart navigation systems. Beyond academia, He collaborates with Omdena chapters in Tanzania and Romania, served as a Campus Ambassador for Bohubrihi, and contributed actively as a Founding Member of the NSTU Robotics Club, reflecting his dynamic engagement in technological innovation and community outreach. Currently, He serves as a Research Assistant in a UGC-funded project, “Deep Learning Based Non Line of Sight Optical Camera Communication System Designed for Indoor Applications”.
