Metropolitan University has completed voluntary blood donation and blood group testing programme. The programme was held at the University's Rabindra-Nazrul stage from 10am to 4pm on the 27th November, Monday. The programme was organised in collaboration with the MU Active Blood Donors Family and with the help of Metropolitan University and Mujib Jahan Red crescent Society. The Pro Vice Chancellor of the University Shiba Prashad Sen, Professor Dr. Rabiul Hossain (Dean,School of Law), Professor Dr. Md. Nazrul Haque (Dean, School of Science & Technology), Professor Dr. Taher Billal Khalifa (Dean, School of Business & Economics), Professor Dr. Suresh Ranjan Basak (Dean, School of Humanities & Social Sciences), Professor Choudhury M. Mukammel Wahid (Head, Dept. of CSE), Assistant Professor Md. Jamal Uddin (Head Dept. of Business Administration), Assistant Professor Sheikh Ashrafur Rahman (Head Dept. of Law & Justice), Assistant Professor Miah Md. Asaduzzaman (Head, Dept. of EEE), Assistant Professor Anik Biswas (Head, Dept. of English) and the Assistant Registrar (Public Relation) of the University Adv. Lukman A. Chowdhury attended the programme. In the programme, 65 students of the Metropolitan University donated Blood and 160 students tested their blood group.
