Fresher?s Reception Programme of the Department of English was held on Thursday, the 17th January 2019 in the City Campus of Metropolitan University.

Students admitted on Spring 2019 Term, Faculty Members of the Department of English and the executive members of MU English Society were present in the programme.

The programme was presided by the Head of the Department of English Mr. Anik Biswas while the Dean of the School of Humanities & Social Sciences Professor Dr. Suresh Ranjan Basak was the Chief Guest.

At the very beginning of the ceremony, members of the MU English Society welcomed fresher?s with floral greetings. During the ceremony, faculty members of the department had given necessary guidance to the new students through their speech.

Besides, documentary films were presented and Academic Calendar, Class Routine and handbook also provided to the students at the end of the programme.
