Metropolitan University Intra Model United Nations Conference-2019, a three-day long conference was inaugurated on Wednesday, 23^rd?January 2019. The conference is being organised by the Metropolitan University Model United Nations Association (MUMUNA). Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Shiba Prasad Sen was present as the chief guest during the inauguration ceremony. Additional Director of IQAC and Professor of the Department of CSE, Choudhury M. Mukammel Wahid, Head of the Department of Economics, Professor Dr. S. M. Ali Akkas, Head of the Department of English and advisor of MUMUNA, Mr. Anik Biswas, Director (Admin) and Advisor of MUMUNA, Mr. Tarek Islam also attended the inauguration ceremony as special guests. President of Metropolitan University Model United Nations Mr. Majudur Rahman Majed is the Secretary General of the conference where Ms. Fatema Waz Uddin is the Deputy Secretary General. 60 delegates joined the conference in three committees, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) and International Press (IP). The conference ends on Friday, the 25th January.
