Metropolitan University Announces Hult Prize Executive Committee for 2025–26
Metropolitan University, one of the country’s leading private higher education institutions, has officially announced the new Executive Committee of the Hult Prize for the 2025–26 term. Hult Prize is recognized as one of the world’s largest student-driven social entrepreneurship competitions. University officials expect that the newly formed committee will further expand student participation in social entrepreneurship and innovative initiatives.
The newly announced committee is led by Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury Founder of Metropolitan University, as the Chief Patron, while Tanwir Rahman Chowdhury, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, serves as Patron.
The committee’s Advisers include Professor Dr. Md. Ishrat Ibne Ismail, Vice Chancellor of Metropolitan University; Syed Nakib Sadi, Assistant Professor of the Department of English and Proctor; and Abir Rahman, Lab Assistant.
Abu Jafar Md. Jakaria, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, has assumed responsibility as President of the Executive Committee.
Other key positions include Zainal Abedin Qureshi as Campus Director; Md. Mahfuzur Rahman and Md. Ismail Hossain as Deputy Campus Directors; Bayezid Hasan as Treasurer; and Shreya Ghosh as Assistant Treasurer.
Namira Ahmed Tanha has been appointed General Secretary, while Sumit Debnath serves as Joint Secretary. Maharshi Chakraborty is the Organizing Secretary, with Abdullah Abu Sayad as Joint Organizing Secretary.
Additional coordinators include Pritila Rani Das (Office Coordinator), Debapratim Deb (Assistant Office Coordinator), Tapan Sarkar (IT Coordinator), Shahriyar Rahman Sakib (Assistant IT Coordinator), Tanmay Dutta Bishal (Graphics Coordinator), Pallab Das and Rahat Hossain (Assistant Graphics Coordinators), Abid Ahmed Sani (Logistics Coordinator), and Hasnat Jamil Khan (Assistant Logistics Coordinator).
The Public Relations team includes Maria Islam Eva as PR Coordinator and Samia Islam Jarin as Assistant PR Coordinator. Hifzur Rahman has been appointed Content Writing Coordinator, with Rubaiya Rahman Ankhi as Assistant Content Writing Coordinator. Sajidur Rahman serves as Corporate Relations Coordinator, assisted by Senjuti Gupta, while Syed Rashid Asif is the Media Coordinator, supported by Sneha Baidya Rumpa as Assistant Media Coordinator.
The newly formed committee also includes Nishat Rahman, Walid Aman Khan, Manas Pal, Abida Khanam, and Rashedul Hasan Majumdar as Executive Members.
