18th Regional Rover Moot 2017 is held on 26th to 31st December 2017 in Gazipur. 20 Universities & Colleges selected by Sylhet District Rover participated in Rover Moot 2017. Metropolitan University Rover Scout Group & Girl in Rover Unit were among the 20 Rover Scout Group. In the moot Rovers were trained to adopt physical & mental skill. As well as different types of programme is arranged for the Rovers such as Sports for entertainment, GDV to introduce with different culture, ICT Fare to achieve skill on Information Technology. Besides regular scouting events included hiking, BP PT, aerobics, camp fire etc. Metropolitan University Rover Scout Group and Metropolitan University Girl-in-Rover Unit represent the University by successfully participating in every event. There were 16 Rovers in two Unit. Senior Lecturer of the Department of EEE and Secretary of MU Rover Scout Group Mr. Nawshad Ahmed Chowdhury was the R.S.L. On December 31st, the successful camping of the Rover Moot came to end through the Grand Camp Fire.
