A two-day exhibition was organised in Metropolitan University entitled 'Project Six Wor(l)d' by the students of the Department of English (Batch 34th). About 126 stories from 21 students were exhibited. It may mention that each of the story displayed in the exhibition was written in just six words. The Six Word Story is one of the element of Micro fiction which is a part of present world literature.
The exhibition was inaugurated on 24th September 2016 by the Honourable Chairman Board of Trustees Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury. Besides The Dean School of Humanities & Social Sciences and Head Department of English Professor Suresh Ranjan Basak and all other faculty members attended the opening ceremony.
The audiences appreciated the organisers and they hope in future department of English will organise this kind of diverse exhibitions frequently.
