The first reunion of Metropolitan University Business Administration Alumni was held on 16^th?March 2019 with elaborate arrangements. The day-long event took place at the Shimantik Complex near Shahjalal Upasahar, Sylhet. The Chairman Board of Trustees Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury was present in ceremony as the Chief Guest. Professor Shiba Prasad Sen,?Pro Vice Chancellor of the University;??Mr. Khandakar Sipar Ahmed,?Chairman of Sylhet Chamber of Commerce and Industry;?? Professor Dr. Taher Billal Khalifa,?Dean of the School of Business & Economics, and?Mr.?Muhammad FR Tanvir,?Registrar of the University?were also present as Special Guests. Besides, Mr. Zahed Ahmed Chowdhury, President,?Metropolitan University Business Administration Alumni Association (MUBAA);?Ms. Salma Yasmin Rimmi,?Senior Vice President;??Mr.?Kawsar Ahmed Dipu,?General Secretary, and?Mr. Toufick Raja,?Treasurer?were also present in the ceremony. The guests inaugurated the ceremony by blowing balloons and pigeons after the rally in the morning. Cultural programmes were also organised throughout the day. On this occasion, one of the country's most popular band 'Chirkutt' performed in the afternoon.
