  The meeting of the Academic Council, Syndicate and Board of Trustees was held on Saturday, 26th August 2017 in the Conference Room of the University. The meeting of Academic Council & Syndicate was presided over by the Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Dr. Md. Saleh Uddin. The meeting of Board of Trustees was presided over by the Chairman, Board of Trustees Dr. Taufique Rahman Chowdhury. 24th meeting of Academic Council began on Saturday at 12pm. Later on the 15th Syndicate meeting was held in the afternoon at 2:30pm and the 29th meeting of the Board of Trustees held at 3pm. The meeting ratified the Minutes of the previous meeting as well as some vital decisions regarding the expansion of appointment of vice chancellor, signing agreement with Access to Information (A2I) of the Prime Minister's Office, teachers and staff recruitment, promotion and study leave for teachers, result of the students passed in current term, extending the registration time and examination committees of different departments also approved in the meeting. A. Ahbab and Professor Mohammed Jahirul Islam, Professor Emeritus M Abdul Aziz, Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Shiba Prasad Sen, The Dean of the School of Business & Economics Professor Dr. Taher Billal Khalifa, Exam-controller Professor Nandalal Sharma, Registrar?Mohammad FR Tanvir and the Heads of all Departments attended in the meeting.
