It is our great pleasure to welcome you and thank you for your interest in the Department of Data Science. Our department is committed to producing skilled graduates and ethically responsible citizens who can meet the demands of the global job market through outcome-based teaching and learning.

The Department of Data Science serves as a centre of excellence in education, research, and development, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment between faculty members and students.

We follow an updated undergraduate curriculum designed in consultation with external stakeholders, including alumni and employers. This ensures that our students gain strong theoretical foundations, technical expertise, and research-based knowledge in Data Science, enabling them to compete successfully in both local and global job markets.

We are proud to share that a significant number of our graduates are currently employed across various sectors at home and abroad. Many of our alumni are also successfully self-employed through freelancing, and some have gone on to establish their own software and IT firms.

In addition to academic excellence, our students actively participate in a wide range of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities at both local and national levels, earning recognition and bringing honor to the department.
