As the Chairman of Metropolitan University, Mr. Tanwir Rahman Chowdhury leads with a profound commitment to educational excellence and social progress. With over two decades of institutional legacy behind him, he is dedicated to ensuring that higher education remains both of high quality and accessible to the youth of Bangladesh.
Under his stewardship, the university has crossed the milestone of 22 years since its inception in May 2003. His leadership focuses on the "demographic dividend," recognizing that with approximately 34% of the population aged 15 or younger, the future of the nation depends on providing this demographic with appropriate and adequate higher education and training.
