Admission Requirements
Students who passed the Higher Secondary level or equivalent with a science background may apply for admission to the undergraduate level if they fulfill the following requirements:
(a) Applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.50 in both SSC and HSC examinations (or equivalent qualifications) individually.
(b) Applicants who have a GPA below 3.50 in either SSC or HSC (or equivalent examinations) may still qualify if they meet both of the following conditions:
i. a minimum GPA of 3.00 in each of the SSC and HSC examinations individually, and
ii. a combined total GPA of at least 8.00 across both SSC and HSC examinations
c) For English-medium students, at least five subjects in O Level with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and two subjects in A Level with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (A = 5, B = 4, C = 3, D = 2, and E = 1) are required.
d) The children of freedom fighters who have a total GPA of 6.00 in both SSC and HSC may apply for admission. However, a copy of the freedom fighter's certificate must be submitted.
e) Students with a physics and mathematics background are preferred, but it is optional.
Program Learning Outcome:

Communication: Graduates will be able to articulate the benefits, risks, formulation, solutions, and results of data science projects to diverse stakeholders, including fellow data scientists, collaborators with subject-matter expertise, and the general public, using written, verbal, and visual forms.
5. Entrepreneurship: Graduates will be able to demonstrate the ability to incorporate entrepreneurial skills into daily planning.
6. Teamwork: Graduates will be able to exercise a high degree of autonomy and responsibility in decision-making for themselves and others, demonstrating professional knowledge and practical skills as both team members and leaders in managing projects with data science components.
