M.A. in English (Final)
Masters of Arts (Final) in English is the highest degree the department of English at present offers. The programme is framed to serve the needs of the students facilitating a wide choice of profession. A degree of Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English or successful completion (carrying minimum 40% marks) of Masters of Arts (Preliminary) in English enables one to go for Masters of Arts (Final) in English. The programme concentrates on American Literature, 20th Century English Literature, Post Colonial Literature, English for Communication, ELT, Research Methodology etc.

How to Apply
The completed Application Form must be submitted to the Admissions Office with the following documents:
Photocopies of Birth Certificate/ National ID/ Passport
Four (04) copies of Passport size colour photographs
Blood Group
Original and one set of Photocopy of all Educational Certificates & Mark sheets.
English to enable them to join the professions like teaching, research,
banking, journalism, jobs in multinational corporations, govt. and non
govt. jobs and fields where English skills are given top priority.
