Biography

Momtaj Parvin is currently working as a Senior Lecturer in the Finance and Banking discipline in the Department of Business Administration at Metropolitan University. She joined this university as a Lecturer on February 12, 2022.

She completed their MBA (CGPA-3.98) in 2021 and BBA (CGPA-3.82) in 2019 in Finance and Banking from Pabna University of Science and Technology. They passed HSC from Nizam Uddin Ajgor Ali College, Sujanagar, Pabna, and SSC from Shahid Dulal Pilot Girls' High School, Pabna in 2013 and 2011 with GPA-5.00 respectively.

She conducts various courses for undergraduate students like Principles of Finance, Introduction to Banking and Insurance, Financial Analysis and Control, Public Finance, Rural and Microfinance, as well as Corporate Finance and Managerial Finance for postgraduate students. They also work as an internship supervisor at the undergraduate level and a research supervisor at the postgraduate level. Additionally, she is the batch advisor of BBA-60, Department of Business Administration.

Her research interests include Contemporary Corporate Finance Issues, Financial Markets and Institutions, Fintech, and Monetary Policy.
