A discussion meeting was held at Metropolitan University on ???????? ???????? ?????????? ???? ????? ???????? ????????? ????????? ??????. Organized by District Information Office, Sylhet. Dr. Muhammad Mosharrof Hossain, Divisional Commissioner (Additional Secretary) attended the discussion as Chief Guest.

Dr. Muhammad Mosharrof Hossain said, ?Every industrial revolution brings speed. But the ongoing Fourth Industrial Revolution is much more dynamic. Keeping up with this speed, we should move forward along the path of building a smart Bangladesh.?

He also added ,?We had been independent with the aim of building a happy and prosperous country, but at some point we were left aimless. However, Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina implemented vision 2021 and has set ultimate vision 2041. To achieve this goal, the new generation needs to know the history of the nation.?

The discussion meeting was presided over by the Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Dr. Mohammad Jahirul Hoque. Md. Saleh Uddin, Deputy Director of District Information Office presented the keynote paper.

Besides, the Treasurer of the University and Dean of the School of Humanities & Social Sciences, Professor Dr. Suresh Ranjan Basak and Former President of Sylhet District Press Club and Founding President of Electronic Media Journalists Association, Mr. Al Azad spoke on the occasion.

This discussion meeting was followed by a cultural programme performed by the students of the University
