Observing Independence Day 2017, Metropolitan University has set up a two day long Blood Donation Camp in the campus on Monday, 27th March. Total 106 donors have donated their blood on that day. It is the second highest collection of Sylhet Red Crescent Blood Bank Society in 2016-17. The programme is chaired by Senior Lecturer of the Department of EEE Kazi Wohiduzzaman coordinated by the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering Choudhury M. Mukammel Wahid.
