BYLC runs customized leadership workshops for university students and leadership executive programs for clients in the private, public and
non-profit sectors in Bangladesh. Over the past year and half, BYLC has conducted several workshops and executive programs for capacity
building of students, executives, senior managers, civil servants and top-level decision-makers.
Under the BYLC, The Art and Practice of Leadership (APL) is a three-day national workshop for third and fourth year university students. APL
aims to provide participants with a practical orientation of the job market and develop confidence and communication skills necessary to
perform well in a professional job environment.
Objectives of the program:
Build leadership capacity of the selected participants and equip them with analytical skills to effectively observe, interpret and intervene in
any social setting.
Provide participants with a practical orientation of the job market and develop confidence and communication skills necessary to perform well
in a professional job environment.
Participants go through a transformative personal experience to learn about leadership and unlock individual and group creativity in the
workshop.
Workshop Curriculum:
Using a combination of lectures, case-in-point teaching, discussions, large class case analysis, small group case consultations, and reflective
exercises, we will push participants out of their comfort zone and expand their bandwidth. The workshop will increase the capacity to diagnose
a social system, and to lead courageously in times of chaos, conflict, and uncertainty.

Admission periods,Deadline,Event Dates and Notification are Under the BYLC?s Decision. Selected Application date for Round 1 is on 24th
August ,2014 and personal interview will be take on 5th September, 2014.
Please note that each ?Round? represents a successive step for admission, and not a distinct period in which one may apply. Round 1
admission will close at midnight (12:00 am) on Sunday, August 24, 2014. No applications will be accepted after this time.

Eligibility:
Undergraduate students in their third and fourth year of studies in an accredited university in Bangladesh are eligible to apply for the
workshop.
Tuition Fee:
Full tuition fee will be covered by BYLC. However, upon acceptance, participants must pay BDT 3,000 at the time of registration.
